The Only Christmas Family Festival in Accra Is Coming!!!
Christmas in Ghana never lacks activities! There are all-white parties in Aburi or Ada, beach hopping events, food and drink festivals, carnivals, overpriced concerts, and the list just keeps going on! Over the last few years December in Ghana has been branded Detty December stemming from the night events and so on. But when it comes down to family-oriented events it’s literal crickets🦗. This is where Family Festa comes in to save the day!
Family Festa is an outdoor family Christmas festival event taking place on the 26th of December at the Efua Sutherland Park from 10 a.m. till your children drain your Momo account! The event, which is organised by RAVVIS, is the second edition and promises an unforgettable day of Christmas memories etched on every mind for months to come. There will be food, drinks, horse riding, board and card games, bouncy castles, competitive games between families with many prizes to be won! A gate ticket, according to the event founder Nana Kodjoe, entitles every participant to participate for free in any activity! What a deal! The only thing you have to worry about is what you and the family will be having for lunch and being spoilt over the variety of yummy meals to choose from the food vendors.
The event founder and owner, Nana Quojoe Antwi promises a “day of thrilling excitement, wholesome family time and overall good vibes. Come as a family, leave with a memory”.
Mommies and Daddies, this event is a day to connect and bond with your children and create long-lasting memories! There will also be opportunities to network with other parents thanks to the strategic line up of planned activities!

The first edition was remarkably exciting and honestly I think there should be a quarterly event for family related entertainment here in Accra! Here are a few shots from that day.
