National Tragedy: Ministers and Military Officers Killed in Helicopter Crash.
A tragic helicopter crash involving a Ghana Armed Forces Z-9 aircraft has claimed the lives of several high-ranking government ministers Minister of Defence Dr. Edward Omane Boamah , Minister of Environment Science and Technology Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed , Vice Chairman of the NDC Dr. Samuel Sarpong and senior military officers . The ministers were on their way to launch a Cooperative Mining Policy when tragedy struck. The incident occurred earlier today under circumstances that are currently under investigation. Emergency response teams were deployed promptly to the crash site, but casualty reports confirm multiple fatalities, marking a significant loss for the nation’s leadership and defense establishment.
Earlier today there was reports of a helicopter crash which reportedly had victims burnt to death on the CitiFm X account. The incident reportedly took place in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region. This was later confirmed by Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah via a national press conference where he also expressed condolences to the family on behalf of the President and the government.
