Nov 4 NATURAL LIFESTYLERS! ITs The 2ND Natural Beauty Bazaar Coming Up On The 5th of December!

More Ghanians are taking their health more seriously and are going back to their roots of using made in Ghana products. When I say going back I mean 'lets go back into time, wayyy back!' From fashion, regrowing our kpenkpeshie (4C Natural Hair), think Asaasa to food, think aluguintugui 'sour sop'. Our consumption of our own resources is slowly and gradually increasing and its a good feeling.

The 2nd Natural Beauty Bazaar is a natural everything event to be held on the 5th of December at the Dubois Centre in Accra. I missed last year's because it didnt cross my social media path but this year, with the hashtag #NBBGH14 and a Facebook event invitation, missing it wasnt going to be an excuse.

What exactly happens at a natural beauty event you ask? Well, according to Korkor Kugblenu, founder of Body Butter Company and one of the key organisers this year is set to bring together as many natural lifestyle enthusiasts in Ghana as possible. Think of fitness enthusiasts, natural and healthy diet lovers, women with natural hair or natural hair wannabes, organic grocery shoppers, good food lovers (me, me, me!!) music lovers, fashion junkies and anybody at all who is looking to have a good time and learn a little something extra. Well that sounds exciting, doesnt it?

If you like winning stuff or getting free stuff then you should definitely pass by because there's going to be raffle draws and giveaways for first 50 attendees (late comers beware!)

Activities such as two 45 minutes talk sessions on natural hair issues, natural hair 101, taking care of dreadlocks and natural skincare as well as healthy diets and fitness routines.

Now for food lovers like myself the food court will have for sale ready-to-eat food like waakye, healthy shakes from Herbalife, smoothies, khebabs, cupcakes etc.
