21st September is a statutory holiday in Ghana marking the birth of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and this year’s fell on a Monday which meant a long weekend. Most of the major radio stations held discussions on the legacy of Ghana’s saviour from British colonial rule and how many of his visionary projects are in existence today. Many of us memorised these projects during social and cultural studies class in JHS and it was simply incredible how one man accomplished so much in his lifetime.
